The ladies of the Benton church have organized activities to better serve their sisters in Christ.  We need you! Please review the service opportunities and decide where you can serve God and grow spiritually.  When you find the one that fits you, please contact one of the ladies listed.

What we do:

We provide on-going contact with our shut-ins.

Who we need:

We need ladies who can keep in weekly contact with one of our shut-ins by calling, visiting, or sending cards.  Any special needs discovered would be reported to one of the coordinators.

What we do:

Take meals to the bereaved, sick, families with newborns.

Who we need:

Women who want to organize, prepare, and take meals to families or serve meals at the building for bereaved families.

What we do:

We organize, inventory, clean, & stock the shower supply room and maintain the appearance of the reception room.

Who we need:

We need ladies to help keep these rooms organized & stocked.

What we do:

We raise money to give to our students who are attending a Christian University each fall.  The money raised during the year will be divided equally among the eligible students.

Who we need:

We need ladies to help plan and organize several fundraisers each year.

What we do:

We deep clean the kitchen on a monthly basis.

Who we need:

We need ladies to clean the kitchen once

a month, usually in a group of 2-4.

What we do:

We host an annual Ladies’ Day/Luncheon for the women of the congregation.

Who we need: 

We need women who will help plan the program, meal, decorate, etc.

What we do:

We draw names for our “secret sister” who we will keep in close contact during the year with special notes and treats, and then be revealed at a special time at the end of the year.

Who we need:

We need the ladies of this congregation who want to develop closer relationships with other Christian women.

What we do:

We organize an annual retreat for the ladies of this congregation.

Who we need:

We need ladies who will plan & organize an annual retreat and ladies to help implement these plans.

What we do:

We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (After the devo, we organize contacts of our absentee sisters and report any needs discovered.)

Who we need:

All ladies are invited.  We need ladies to host the devotionals at their home and ladies who will lead the devos.

What we do:

We keep our building’s entrance areas attractive by planting and maintaining the flowerbeds.

Who we need:

We need ladies who like working in flowerbeds and making things beautiful.

What we do:

We volunteer to attend the nursery during Sunday morning and evening worship services

Who we need:

We need ladies that love children and would be able to take care of babies and toddlers during the services.

What we do:

We welcome members and visitors attending the Sunday morning service.

Who we need:

We need smiling faces to help greet people as they enter the building and sanctuary.
